Alright Bruins fans, here is your chance to play coach.

If you could go back in time, what goalie pair would you pick for the rest of the season?

For sports nuts like myself, there has never been a better series to watch.

When I first heard about this series coming out I expected to see a lineup featuring stories about Michael Jordan, the Dallas Cowboys and the "band is on the field" game. In other words, i expected the same "heroic" sport stories that I grew up watching and hearing about... on repeat.

But I have to hand it to ESPN. They really took this series to the next level. A lot of these stories happened when I was alive but a lot of them I had never heard about.

The 2004 Red Sox episode was awesome but learning about Vlade Divac's personal and lifelong struggles, Lenny Bias' tragic death and June 17th 1994 was eye opening.

If you haven't seen an episode yet, start now.

Lost Season 3: The Red Sox Win the World Series.

So the girlfriend and I have been blazing through the show Lost recently.

We both missed the boat when the show first came out, but with the invention of Netflix Instant Que we have been watching like 3 episodes a night.

In season one I was pretty pumped when I heard the reference to the Red Sox not winning the World Series since 1918. Only pumped, I must say, because I knew just a few days after the first episode aired - the Sox won the World Series and then of course again in 2007.

But when we got to season 3 - I almost wept when I saw the scene below. It was pure poetry. Watching Jack's face I felt like I was back in '04 with that same look of disbelief. I get the chills every time I watch this clip and even as I type this post.

Enjoy.

Junior Seau Has Lost His Mind

I can just hear Junior Seau's lawyers now...

"Uh... it was a post-concussion, post-steroid related reaction. He didn't even realize he was hitting his girlfriend or driving off a cliff. I demand a congressional hearing!"

The verdict: 2 hours community service, 1 week probation and an autographed picture for the D.A.

Sunday Funday Bonus Post: Brady vs. Suggs

With all the headlines praising Deion Branch and his incredible comeback I figured you might have missed this one today while watching the Patriots final drive.

CBS gave it a 5 second shot with no replay because let's face it - they are not the biggest Pats fans in the world. (Side note - Phil Simms calling a Patriots game is about as painful as Joe Buck calling the Sox).

The Baltimore Raven's Terrell Suggs had a questionable late hit on Tom Brady and Brady did not back down. For all the negative "pretty boy" and "girly hair" attention Brady has been getting, I would say you have to have some pretty serious stones to get in the face of a maniac like Suggs.

Boston fans and media take notice: Brady is back.

Sunday Funday Prediction: NFL Week 6.

Patriots vs.Ravens (10/17/2010)

My prediction:

Pats 27, Ravens 24.

Here is a little 2007 season for you. Check out the 4:05 mark: the famous Billick - Harrison kiss moment. Good stuff.
