A New York Barstool Sports Post...

I couldn't stand the nonsense I was reading on New York Barstool Sports a few weeks ago.

It was a few days before the giant Jets end of the season collapse and the blogger "KFC" was claiming NY sports dominance.

Here is what I had to say:

"What is pathetic is that with 2 teams in the NFL, MLB and the NHL you have managed to only have a 47 - 32 championship lead over Boston who has 1 team in each.

The Jets have 1? The Knicks have 2? That is just hilarious. For such a big market it should be such a dominating number.

Stop acting like you were even alive when the Yankees or Giants were in their Prime. 4 of the Giants rings are from before 1960. Leather helmets and white dudes everywhere.

The present and future belongs to Boston. Don't be mad because the Jets, Islanders, Knicks and Rangers haven't shown up this decade.

And do you really want to compare the Yanks and Sox payroll/lineup? Sure we pay 2nd most - but the prospects we use in trades is un-rivaled. The Yanks just wait for free agency and then overpay.

Here are products of the Red Sox farm system: Ellsbury, Pedroia, Youk, Papelbon, Lester, Bucholz, Bard etc etc. We had to give up Hanley Ramirez for Lowell and Beckett. We scooped Ortiz for pennies when he was a nobody. Varitek and Wakefield were less than nobodies when we scooped them in the 90's. Sure we have our Schillings, Mannys and Crawfords. But we gave up a shitload for A-Gon.

We don't ruin baseball. We just overpay because you scumbags have ruined the game and have made it necessary. Thank you for that.

GFY KFC and that doesn't stand for "Good For You"
