I think I am more obsessed with Back to the Future than is healthy.
My mother loves to tell the story about how when I was 3 I went like 150 days straight watching Back to the Future I. She tried to put on Sesame Street - I screamed for M.J. Fox in his life preserver. She switched to Muppets, I whined for crazy Doc Brown's ass. I mean Back the Future is PG, but should a 3 year old be subjected to 150 days straight of pure time traveling chaos? I vote yes.
And so when I saw AMC pumping the Trilogy every night for a full week 6pm - 130am, I have to be honest, I have watched the first 2 and part of the 3rd every single night so far. The girlfriend is out of town so it has just been me, my tv dinners and straight B.T.F. for possibly the most amazing week of my life.
I just wish that Marty's real future turned out to be a little better. And no I'm not talking about the horrible show Spin City either...
